Students applying for an exchange with ESC Rennes School of Business must first be nominated by their home institution. Once selected and/or accepted by the home institution, please fully complete and send the ESC Rennes School of Business application form for exchange students including the following documents:

The academic year is divided into 2 semesters. You can find the exact dates for each programme in the tables below :

 

 

 

puce On-line choice of classes


Students will be contacted by email 2 to 3 months before the start of the programme in order to make their choice of classes. Please make sure that ESC Rennes has the correct email address, spelling of your surname and date of birth (see the acceptance letter).

Transfer credit students can register in business classes for a maximum of 30 ECTS: 6 business classes at undergraduate level or 5 business classes at graduate level. Students on double diploma must follow the requirements for the programme in which they are registered.

 

puce ECTS Credits

 

Your university has an exchange agreement with the Rennes School of Business and most students including international Undergraduate and Postgraduate students enrolled as full degree seeking students are eligible. You do not have to pay fees at the Rennes School of Business, only at your home institution.

 

For more precise details on how, when to go abroad, what courses to study, please ask your Business School international office or your study abroad office for advice.

  • You can come for either one semester or a full year
  • You can earn credit to transfer towards your university degree at home

 

Rennes School of Business uses the ECTS (European Transfer Credit System). A standard workload is 30 ECTS per semester. Courses carry 5 ECTS credits at undergraduate level and 6 ECTS at postgraduate level (30 ECTS are usually equivalent to 15 US credits or 60 UK credits)

 

  • The choice of your courses will depend on your home institution and your personal professional project, the prerequisites, availability and timetabling.
  • It is also possible to earn a degree at Rennes School of Business if your home institution has an agreement with us. If you can register for such a programme, certain courses are compulsory and you must attend Rennes School of Business for a full academic year.

 

Undergraduate classes = 5 ECTS Credits
Postgraduate classes = 6 ECTS Credits

Students are expected to take 30 ECTS Credits per semester

N.B. French Language and French culture classes = 2.5 ECTS Credits each per semester regardless if the students follow under or postgraduate classes

Should the student find an internship while studying in Rennes, the contract is to be signed by their home institution and the company. Rennes School of Business can not issue this document unless the students are registered on a degree-earning programme (such as IBPM, PGE, MSc). We can however provide a model document. Exchange students are welcome to consult the offers available at Rennes School of Business.

 

puce Handicap, Health Problems


Rennes School of Business may welcome students with disabilities. Please check if possible by contacting the school before arrival (send an email to the programme administration for your programme). For students with reduced mobility, the school is equipped for lifts/elevators to the classroom floors and other amenities. Transport in Rennes is also adapted to persons with reduced mobility (metro & buses)
